Rugged Protection with Stackable Design

Crafted from high-impact polypropylene with an open-cell core and solid wall construction, the 1740 offers superior strength while remaining lightweight. A durable O-ring seal and dual Automatic Pressure Equalization Valves ensure the case stays watertight and airtight—even during altitude or temperature changes.

The case features four extra-deep base-to-lid locking cleats for ultra-secure stacking and reliable closure. It’s further reinforced with stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors to safeguard your contents under any condition.

Equipped with wide-track polyurethane wheels with ball bearings and nylon hubs, the Pelican™ 1740 rolls easily over rough terrain, making it perfect for travel and field deployment. Two sturdy handles allow for balanced lifting, and its long design makes it an excellent choice for firearms, tripods, lighting kits, or long industrial gear. For interior protection, you can choose the optional Pick N Pluck™ foam with a convoluted lid insert for fully customizable gear storage.
