Fuerte Cases and The Waterproof Case Company were founded in 2001 San Diego, California as an expansion to the Plastics Engineering and Consulting Firm of Bircumshaw & Associates. The goal was to fulfill an industry need by establishing a successful sales, manufacturing and distribution company to represent the very best protective storage equipment of superior quality and performance. Fuerte Cases came about after working for over 22 years in plastics engineering and manufacturing management roles for several major US and international OEM manufacturers, custom molders and consulting companies.

The company's direction has been to provide specialty protective and portable enclosures for numerous applications throughout the US and around the world. Product lines early on included exclusively USA Made products of the best possible quality and performance designed to comply and exceed the strictest military, environmental and industrial specifications and standards.

Our primary focus has been on these and other markets: Electronics, Instrumentation, Photography and Video Equipment, Military, Law Enforcement, Medical, EMS, and other markets including OEM manufacturers, oil exploration, water and waste water plants, government, research and laboratory facilities worldwide. Our knowledge and understanding of these markets have allowed us to position ourselves as the industry leader and to always exceed our customer’s needs.
