SEAHORSE PROTECTIVE CASE STANDARD FEATURES Features below can be found on all Seahorse Cases
WATERPROOF & AIRTIGHT The Neoprene perimeter O-Ring seal makes Seahorse Cases completely waterproof and airtight. SE Series cases are guaranteed waterproof to 30 feet under water. SX Series are guaranteed waterproof to 70 feet under water. Our cases are subjected to a 24 hour submersion test in order to meet this requirement. RUSTPROOF Seahorse Cases are entirely made of plastic. There is no metal that can rust and undermine the properties of our cases. Our cases can safely be exposed and submerged in salt water or left in the rain. We do not use metal pins for the hinges, latches and handles. The pins are made of durable Acetyl resin offering excellent lubricity and wear resistance. CRUSHPROOF Manufactured to exceed MIL STD's of 400 Lbs stacking, drop test at 48" and their humidity test of 95% at 120°F. Our cases pass the 100% humidity test (underwater). MADE IN THE USA ALL Seahorse Cases are proudly MADE IN THE U.S.A.	STANDARD COLORS Black Gunmetal Gray Safety Yellow (OSHA) Orange (SOLAS) ALL COLORS IN STOCK LIFETIME GUARANTEE UNCONDITIONAL LIFETIME GUARANTEE. If your Seahorse Case doesn't perform as it should we'll replace it for LIFE, period. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE SE Series are molded with of Polypropylene resin and our SX Series (Extreme Series) with Rigid ABS. Both versions offer excellent chemical resistance to oils, fuels and solvents. UV RESISTANT The properties of the resins used are UV (ultraviolet) resistant to prevent color fading from long term exposure to the sun and against dry rot degradation. MIL-SPEC & IP STDS Seahorse cases satisfy numerous Mil-Specs and satisfy IP Standards 67.	AUTO-PURGE VALVE Our cases are airtight. This can make it difficult to open them without relieving the interior vacuum that is created when experiencing changes in altitude and temperature. A Pressure Relief Purge Valve is incorporated under one the latches with its own O-Ring to guarantee a perfect seal. You will never forget to set the valve since it is automatically applied when closing your case. The pressure is relieved as as you open the latch. The location of the Purge Valve allows for it to function even when utilizing a waterproof panel kit. This feature is critical when using our panel kits for mounting instrumentation. BUILT-IN PADLOCK HOLES Each case has 2 padlock holes so you can safely lock up your valuables. They accept standard padlocks and we leave enough room so you can easily lock and unlock them. The SE-300 models also accommodates a nut and bolt approach to locking. A nut shape is molded underneath the padlock holes for one hand installation This feature is very useful when shipping a case to guarantee the case stays shut without having to use a dangling padlock that could snag on conveying equipment.

SEAHORSE PROTECTIVE CASE OPTIONAL FEATURES & ACCESSORIES
LATCH LOCKS You can also add either Chromed Steel or Rustproof Plastic keyed tamperproof locks right on your latches. The mechanism for the metal locks is entirely made of chromed steel. The assembly for the Plastic locks is molded with ABS resin, one of the toughest materials available. ABS is impervious to temperature extremes and will not become brittle and break in subzero temperatures. These are the best choice to maintain the rustproof properties of our cases. PRE-SCORED FOAM Our cases are available with an optional removable customizable foam set. We supply egg crate foam in the lid and one block of Acu-Form Foam plus one more layer to line the bottom. PANEL KITS Panel Kits are used for mounting electronics such as readouts, buttons, transformers, LED indicators, plugs, connectors, slides, dials, etc. Bottom panel is waterproof to protect equipment even when the case is open. Panels are made of .063" brushed aluminum and include screws, one perimeter gasket and O-Rings for the screws to waterproof the bottom portion of your case. The top panel is designed to be made waterproof by sealing with silicone and its design will shed water and spray without silicone. CAMOUFLAGE Camouflaging is available in the SX series cases for the SX-120 through SX-720 cases. Click on the image for a larger view of the camouflage patterns available. Currently Camouflaging is on a custom order basis, but will soon be available on stock items found throughout the website. Most widely used for Game and Trail Cameras (they also make good surveillance cam cases). Also applicable for tactical field operations or the hunting enthusiast. Minimum order quantities are required. WATERTIGHT WIRE SEALS We are the only Watertight Case supplier that offers Watertight Wire Seals installed on protective cases. Watertight Wire Seals are most often used to run a lipstick camera cable from a video camera in a case through the wall mounted on the head to take video while surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, snowboarding, etc. The case is then mounted to a Gexar Lumbar Pack (shown above) to secure the case to the body and allow for freedom of movement.
